About Us

Know that while you are enjoying our mixes, people in need are being helped.
Corporate Gifts and Fundraising
Since 2004 we have directly given back over $291,000 to the Community!

Motown Soup is a collaboration of volunteers who produce quality soup and food mixes in
a State Dept. of Agriculture licensed kitchen. All profits are donated to soup kitchens, homeless
shelters, food banks and free clinics. Motown Soup is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit. We thank Trinity
Lutheran Church, Utica, MI, for providing a kitchen, storage area, facilitator and many volunteers.

Major receivers of Motown Soup profits have been:
Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries, MCREST, Gleaners Food Bank, Forgotten Harvest,
Trinity Community Care

Others include:
South Oakland Shelter, Baldwin Center in Pontiac, Macomb Homeless
Coalition, Samaritan House, Hope Center, Pilgrim-I Am My Brother’s Keeper,
Metro Area Free Clinics, The Open Door, Covenant House, St. Leo’s
