Selling Motown Soup can be a winner for both you and for the ministries we support locally.

We have all sold calendars, cook books, etc. where we ‘eat’ the leftovers.  Hey, not so with Motown Soup.  What you sell, you get a reasonable portion of the profits.  If you don’t sell, you are stuck with nothing.  Interested?

Motown Soup produces all of its products in a State Dept. of Ag. licensed kitchen as well as a County Health Dept. licensed kitchen.  All of our workers are volunteers, all of our profits are split between MCREST and the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries…and 10% being shared with other shelters and soup kitchens.  We price our soups at a very marketable $6 per mix.  We could hike the price to $10 per mix (like many fundraising firms do with candy, popcorn, etc.) and share more money with you, .but that’s not who we are.  Competitive pricing, quality products,  reasonable profits.  No prizes for top sellers,  no pizza parties, no stuffed animals.   A good product that doesn’t rip people off, we find, is more loved than gouging check books.  Can you work with 33% profit instead of 50% profit?
 

If you sell 120 mixes, you earn the $1.75 on EACH mix, not just the twenty mixes over 100.  The harder you work/sell, the more you will receive.

We provide:

• Samples of our mixes that you can make for tasting.  Your group should have the opportunity to either taste for themselves or to have others taste our mixes at an event.  You may have to add a can of chicken or tomatoes, but you use the samples from us at no cost to you.
   
• Tasting spoons and tasting cups
   

• Information of how to sell, what to say & do to communicate our products to the customer

• Triplicate forms for taking orders…or if selling at an event, a tally of what was sold

You provide

• A group to do the sales

• A time to sample the products you will be selling

• Pick-up of the order from 45160 Van Dyke and return to the same (we might have someone who travels through your location and deliver to you)

• One check payable to “Motown United Ministries” for what you have sold, payable within 5 days of your sale
