Kelle's Coffee Cake
A moist, crumble topped coffee cake that is exactly what you need for breakfast!!!
Best when it comes out of the oven!!!
This yummy coffee cake is made in a 9 x 9 pan. The package contains a separate pack for the cinnamon/brown sugar toping!
You will need:
8 Tbs Butter (1 stick)
1 tsp Vanilla
3/4 C Sour Cream
Topping: Use a pastry cutter or fork to cut 3 T cold butter into the small topping packet. Set this bowl aside.
Cake: Beat the remaining 5 T cold butter in mixing bowl until smooth. Add dry ingredients and mix until combined. Add 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla, and 3/4 C sour cream. Mix thoroughly. Spread into prepared pan. Sprinkle topping evenly over top of the cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
Option: Add 1 cup fresh blueberries or apples. Walnuts can be added to topping before sprinkling.
