Michigan Cherry Scone Mix
Phyllis’ Phenomenal Michigan Cherry Scone Mix Phyllis from Berkeley, MI shared her recipe. First bite and you will have no words, just high pitched sounds coming from your mouth as you quickly grab a second scone. Yeah, that good. Includes a bag of Michigan Cherries! YUM!
You will need:
1 stick unsalted room temp Butter
1 large Egg
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
1-1/2 TBS Sugar
Pour ingredients of Scone pouch, including cherries, into bowl. Mix butter, egg, sour cream into a separate bowl. Combine wet ingredients into dry. Stir. Mix with your hands. Form into a ball. Place on a lightly floured surface. Pat into an 8 inch circle. Sprinkle top with sugar. Use a knife to cut into 8 triangles. Place on cookie sheet one inch apart. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-17 minutes (golden brown). Cool for 5 minutes.
